Notes for shooting enthusiasts

Landowners using the services of those advertising on this site should check the following:
References and Firearms Certificates (and its conditions) where appropriate. Membership of the BASC or other shooting association. Insurance. Roadworthiness of any vehicles used. The Identity of the shooter. The owner of this site accepts no responsibility for the conduct of the shooting enthusiasts contacted through this site. Landowners must satisfy themselves as to the level of competence of those shooting on their land. The shooter will provide you with a copy of their relevant insurance. Please satisfy yourself that these details are correct and that the level of cover is satisfactory prior to shooting being undertaken. However, as most of our members are also members of BASC, they automatically have third party liability insurance of £5,000,000. You will be asked to sign a written agreement, stating exactly what duties the shooter is expected to perform. This does not imply that you have liability in any way for the shooters' actions but is simply a requirement of their insurance. A copy of the shooting agreement can be found here |
