Hello from a snowy Teesside

Postby Stavross » Wed Feb 28, 2018 12:10 pm

Hello to you all
This is the first time I've ever used a shooting forum and have enjoyed the last hour or so reading your posts
What I have noticed is there's is a lot of people on here that seem to be getting into the sport but are having to stick to the clays and range ( this is something I don't do ) because they are unable to get permission, in this respect I have been very lucky, I have a lot of land that I shoot over, everything from pigeons, lamping bunnies to fox shooting on a sheep farm and on my pheasant shoot, if I find myself spending more time on here getting to know people I may well be tempted to take like minded people out with me, I have a couple of people that I take out now but still find myself out on my own quite often and I do like showing people what I do and why I do it and believe that if you take the time to show people the correct way of doing what we do then we all benefit from this

All the best

Hi Stav,

Welcome to the forum, I’ve found the forum to be helpful whenever you need a bit of advice.

I’m also from Teesside, live in Sunny Stockton-on-Tees.

Sounds like your one of the lucky ones up here with plenty of land, everywhere I go is totally swamped and don’t need anyone.

Hope you enjoy the forum :niceone:

Yeah, when I went back it had been demolished. I'm now homeless.

Snap, I to live in the beautiful hamlet of Stockton-on-tees, have you been shooting long, I know how hard it is to get shooting around here, the only reason I’ve got most of mine is because of who I work for, I’m always on the look out for new land and in all the years I’ve been doing this I’ve managed to get 3 other permissions from countless knock backs
