Hi is a 6 7 mnth old greyhound to old to start training for rabbiting and to be used with ferrets and nets he does need some work on lead manners as he naver off the lead it is a0re homing center dog ??

At 6-7 months old the greyhound is just barely ready for coursing training. Up to and during be sure and include lots of stamina and muscle building excercises for the dog as well. I have seen 3-4 yr old dogs off the tracks easily trained for field use. I suspect so long as one is healthy age is really not a factor with this breed. They are quite easy to train.
