And then some.. total canine headbangers. Ours had the philosophy of never going around something if she could either go through it or over it..!!! Caught her chewing tail one day, well I thought she was. Turned out to be a shed load of brambles tangled in her tail. I managed to free her and we set off home. On entering the house I saw what looked like spots of blood on the mat and, once in the house and on closer inspection, I found her mouth full of thorns..!! They were everywhere. Under her tongue, in her cheeks and gums, everywhere. So I set to with a bowl of warm water with some detol in it, a pair of tweezers and removed a total of 19 thorns..!!! She never made a sound, not a peep. She never tried to get away or move, just sat there and let me get on with it.. Hard as nails.
Upshot is, seven years on I still miss the bugger so much..!!
