I go Carp fishing last time I went a few weeks back went to rakker lakes fished it a few times anyone else into Carp fishing?

I have been known to on occasion, not really interested in the normal mainstream carp fishing though.

hi
i occasionally used to fish at a small place called rainton near thirsk, they had a lake stocked with smaller carp tench and other smaller fish as well as a specimen pond.
was always nice and quiet.
i havent had time in the last few years but i always caught better fish than when beach fishing.

Used to be an avid bivvy boy but gave it up and found fly fishing thanks to a very good friend quite well to do in the industry so it's now rivers and ressi's but I do like fishing for carp on the fly had some good double figure fish
