Moved on and dumped another since. The bar maid is now with the bar owner, pity they keep running out of beer.

Worse than going into a whore house and finding no whores

This place is the village from hell. About ten of us, if that, between the ages of 35 and 45, plus of load of Spanish people that dont speak English. What ever next.

Bring on the holiday maker season

You'll know when you've broken a rib.

The current A+E practice is pain killers. End ex. They won't strap you up nor will they recommend anti-inflamatories. It's the same if you break a bone in the toes. :(

Anyway, here's hoping you feel better soon.

Guys,

I just want to remind you that this part of the forum is public-viewable by anyone. There are also one or two youngsters (under 16) who frequent shootforum and I would like to politely and respectfully ask that posts are kept within the realms of decency.

Well, if it was bruised, it would have eased up by now.

Its just as bad

Trust me. Driving down our main road, discovering it has braille in it, going by the words I was coming out with on each lump and bump. Did not go down to well today. Meeting my parents coming the other way in their extra wide, road hogging fiesta, taking up 3/4 of the road and having to mount the verge, went down even better.

Not a good day for pain

For the self confessed medics. Can it be classed as a broken or cracked rib yet?

Just wondering like

I thought you lot were joking when you said it would take a long time to heal. Still not getting a full nights kip.

Go see a doctor, at least he may give you good drugs along with bad advice.

Well at least you are a kind thoughtful lot. If you was nasty, no doubt there would also have been mention of industrial strength laxative to help strengthen the ribs while straining

Time to resort to the well known anasthetic and painkiller that has served man well for many years before all these new fangled drugs were even invented...... I prescribe BEER, about a gallon should guarantee a good nights sleep as you are probably still young enough to sleep through with a gut full. Alas, I would need to get up at least 4 times to go for a pee. Hope you get better soon. Pete

With any luck the warm weather should aid recovery. Plus its almost hot enough to sit outside a bar on an evening in a t-shirt now. Hopefully, it should speed the recovery up
