The Mouse and the Kebab!!!!!!

Anything goes - within reason.

The Mouse and the Kebab!!!!!!

Postby Viperteks » Sat Jan 28, 2012 1:28 pm

It appears we have a mouse, or even mouse(s), as when I got up this morning - OK - 11.45am, my Kebab box (containing half a Shish Kebab) had been serverley nibbled, however on close examintaion the box was NOT breached, thank God, as the micees had moved onto the Grapes on the sideboard - time to get the Shotgun out of the cabinet!

So the main question - should I EAT the Kebab.

Dave,

I'm sure with your skills as "the Mouse Whisperer" you can call them in and deal with them.

I probably wouldnt have recommended the kebab before the mouse attack!

I certainly woundnt now! Even if they didnt get throught to eat it its probababl that the unsanitary little Ba****ds peed all over
If it has a trigger I'm gonna enjoy it!

Look - an eagle!

Eat the mouse and get a cat or feed the cat the kerbabs to get a taste a meat and then tell him for any further meat dinners he's on his own concluding with a statement "bye the bye, did you know that there's a mouse in the house".

I have several mice in the past and they will dehydrate and die in place rather then come out and play with the cats. It's got to be terrible for the mouse as the three cats will sit in place for hours just waiting for a piece of the mouse.

Should you eat the kebab? :barf:

No, never. Kebab meat looks foul and smells even worse. It should only be fed to them geezers who begin at Calais. :barf:

You'd be healthier catching the mice and cooking them for supper.

Next time add extra chili sauce after you have finished eating.
Let the mice suffer the arse of death if they attempt to eat it.
And if you still drunk from the night before and try eating it, the resulting urge to drink gallons of water after, will help sober you up

Keef. this was a SHISH Kebab, NOT a Donner Kebab, Shish is finest cuts of Lamb, marinaded then grilled - simply stunning!!!!

Anyway - I ate it!

Set some snap traps up around the Kitchen, and some run through traps in the Garage, hopefully the Whippet might catch one!!!

I have got a .22 shotgun which is brilliant for rodent shooting up to about 10 yards or so that you could try out. Maybe not in the house but round garages and outbuildings it is fine. Uses number 12 shot so it is pretty fine.
For the avoidance of doubt, there is no such thing as "American English". There is the English language and there are mistakes.

A neighbour from a house round the corner from us came to borrow our cat.

She said that despite keeping three dogs in the garden [never, of course, picking up the crap or stopping them barking & fighting every day] and disinfecting the kitchen tops every day with bleach, she still got up every morning to find mouse droppings on her kitchen surfaces. She then asked if perhaps she was using the wrong type of bleach and did we want to go to a BBQ they were thinking of having in a week or two.

Unfortunately we were busy that day. :worried:

Well, this morning, whilst cleaning out a kitchen cupboard before the Plumber ran a Gas pipe through it, we found the Mouse - DEAD. :(

Think he just got trapped in that cupboard, as there was no sign of the traps being used!

Glad we appear only to have the one - so far!!! :worried:
