Government Shuffle Dance

Postby Eagleman » Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:47 am

So the "Mincing Wonder" Mandelson is back in Cabinet as "Lord" Mandy of Thong in charge of business (of a type). The "Horse" (Margaret Beckett) is back in as "Enforcer" and the Department of Energy becomes the Department of Energy and Tax...sorry,... Climate Change.

Hold on to your hats people...it is going to be a bumpy ride.

I can't believe that mendacious shirtlifter Mandelson is back in office! How many times does he have to demonstrate he's just plain, old fashioned dishonest????

Ah!

I think I've just answered my own post ........... :hmm:

Ring ring ring.

Mr X:Hello, Prime Minister?

PM: Yes?

Mr X:I don't want to give you my name but I represent a large group within the Labour party and we have a propersition for you.

PM: I'm listening.

Mr X: We'd like Peter Meddlesom in the Cabinet and some promotion for some Blair supporters.

PM: Bog off, d'you think I'm mad?

Mr X: The deal is if they get in you stay in. If they don't, you're out.

PM: Do you have Meddlesoms 'phone number?

Once upon a time, to get hanged drawn and quartered was the reward for treason.... it still is, except that now it's the traitors who get to hang draw and quarter the nation.

Tony Blair abolished the crime of treason, presumably to avoid the charge over his sell out to Europe.

The very thought of a government featuring Mandelson, both Millibands and Buckett is.... nauseating.
:barf: So may we assume there's a "safety camera" monitored boking-tax in the pipeline? :barf:

That little turd Derek Draper is back to join Lord Mandelson Of Notting Hill.

I wouldn`t be surprised if they found a seat in the House of Lords and a government job for "Sir" Ian Blair as well.

"Lord liberace Of Soho" would be a fitting title for a man of his stature, don`t you think?

What the f***!

Everybody knew that Brown was doomed including the puddin himself so the only reason Mandy is back must be to help with the moonlight stuffing as much cash into suitcases as possable, thats what he is good at

It sounds ridiculous, but I have to say that I think the above is spot on.

Just when you think that this government can't possibly make their utter contempt of the British public any plainer.....

I don't think any government has ever been completely honest, but it is a testimony to the depths of the apathy of said British public has sank, that they (this government) are quite so blatant when they go about their sleaze.

Spineless, self serving, sneaky, underhand, arrogant waste of oxygen the lot of them.

Some of the "Eurosceptics" long thought that Prescott was - on at least some po0litical matters - higher ranking than Tony Blair, because Prescott was the EU's top man at Westminster.
I really don't know if that was correct or not.
But the head of personnel at the Office of the Deputy PM, was also head of the Common Purpose organisation.
Coincidence?
And it was Deputy PM Prescott who introduced the rules which effectively did away with democratic discussion and decision-making in local Councils.
These rules worked against Labour councillors and Councils just as much as any others -- but in favour of the multiply overlapping layers of Development Agencies.... a power base of Common Purpose.
And now Prescott is retired, could it be that Mandelson has (closetly -- how appropriate!) been appointed EU Gauleiter for England?
