Against my better judgement I read up a bit on the case. If I've got it right, the girl asked him if she could come with him to his hotel. There they ended up in bed together. Another footballer entered the room and asked if he could join in. He did and then left. The girl is on CCTV as leaving the hotel under her own steam. Evans is convicted of rape on the grounds that the girl was too drunk to give consent.
But...
The other footballer was acquitted of rape. The girl was not too drunk to walk out of the hotel unaided. I have my doubts.

If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?

Totally agree, this one just doesn't stack up, BUT as a 'woman' said he did, well then - he must have, or so it would seem!
