Just updated to Windows 10 and it's all ok.. EXCEPT I can't change my password to the forum..!!!! Can any techie experts help??? Pretty please..

It's running ok. Lots of little changes, certainly improvements over W7. I never tried W8 so I can't comment on that. Personally I think it's more a case of this old, decaying git has trouble remembering passwords.. but it's no bloody good to me getting a log-in code which informs me I can change my password 'later' if, when I do go to change it, it asks me for the bloody password I can't remember...!!!

I've been arguing with the Revd Mrs Tommo this morning that today is a Bank Holiday...!!!!

So, as far as changing my password is concerned, I'm still stuffed...

Tommo, if you go into this site's administer control panel as a moderator and look up yourself in the "find user" you will be able to your password there. It's in the same location where we ban spammers.

Having run a mac with no anti virue software for just over 15 years with no issues, id still be ahead if dies a horrid;e death later today.
15 years on two machines with no breakdowns or upgrades, not sure any windows user can say that.
