Black Friday

I don't know if you fellow have Black Friday in the UK. It really sucks. The day after Thanksgiving stores tend to have incredible sales on derivative items that look like to high price real thing however tend to be cheaper versions of the "real" thing with less features that the manufacturers put out of quick sales to a gullible public willing to pay real money for junk. I stay away form these types of sales as it can get insane. I have today off so I decided to make a run of a few gun stores. I drove thirty minutes and when I arrived at the first store the owner was off somewhere and I was told in come back in an hour and a half. Ok, I drove to the next well stocked gun store only to find that they have a "Black Friday" sale, There had to be 50 customers in the store. It was akin the a Pakistani border sale at the arms bazaar along the Hindu Kush. I didn't buy anything. I wanted some powder for reloading but I could make myself heard among the din to pay for the stuff. I powder went back on the shelf and I left the the "Black Friday" traders to have at it.

We do have it here and yes, it is disgusting to see people literally being crushed and run over in the rush to enter a store. By all accounts it was quieter today, but I wouldn't know for sure. Sharing space with a horde of maniacs never made it onto my bucket list.

I try my best not to leave the house on black Friday. I'll let the sheeple trample each other to save a few quid!

Good to see Asda giving it a miss this year. Last year was appalling, with people stampeding through stores and fighting over shitty televisions.

I reckon 'normal' people stayed at home this black friday, instead of braving it.

Alas, the wife refuses to shop at the gun store.
Although I would never have expected.to see the Black Friday crowd at a gun store. They usually just have hunting season sales.
