Always a good topic to add interest to a forum.

Time to share the good and the bad films you have watched recently

I saw the movie "Hateful Eight". The movie was okay however it was a predictable Tarantino movie. It did hold my interest. Jennifer Jason Lee made a excellent bad girl. In my opinion she "stole" the movie. I wanted to see the movie "The Revenant". That movie is based on a true story that's as remarkable as the movie. The fellow who built the featured rifle is Ron Luckenbill. It's a Buck's County style flintlock. I shoot that style flintlock. The movie is up for best picture. I liked to see for the action and especially the rifle in action. Unfortunately it was sold out so I found myself watching "The Hateful Eight". Still I'd love to see that Buck's County rifle and the movie.

"The Revenant" is out there if you know where to look cough Kodi cough Genesis cough

Another good film is "The Big Short"
It explains what caused the last recession in an easy to understand method as well
It also shows just how bad things were in America and the greed involved that led up to it

Moonwalkers is good for pointless violence

Two well known stars in it, you will recognise
Rupert Grint - the ginger kid from harry potter
Ron Perlman - Clay from sons of anarchy

After failing to locate the legendary Stanley Kubrick, an unstable CIA agent (Ron Perlman) must instead team up with a seedy rock band manager (Rupert Grint) to develop the biggest con of all time-staging the moon landing.

Ron Perlman is brilliant in the film

Hyena Road
Three different men, three different worlds, three different wars - all stand at the intersection of modern warfare - a murky world of fluid morality where all is not as it seems.

Cracking war film that is about a group of Canadian snipers in Afghanistan

Revenant on a big cinema screen and surround sound was pretty impressive!

Hateful 8 and Bad Grandpa are next on the list!

I recently saw both of those movies. I loved the part Jennifer Jason Leigh play. The movie is very violent though.

The 33
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2006295/

Based on the real-life event, when a gold and copper mine collapses, it traps 33 miners underground for 69 days.

Great film to watch

Some big names in the cast, Antonio Banderas, Lou Diamond Phillips, along with the woman that plays ziva in ncis

You see how close those guys came to being left to die on more than one occasion

A couple of films I'd thoroughly recommend to kill some time over the Christmas period.

'Second Hand Lions' with Robert Duvall and Michael Caine

'Open Range' with Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner

Enjoy
