I worked in the Jewelry trades for 14 years. I handled tons of gold in bars and coins. Gold is the worlds most recycled metal. I learned to appreciate fine jewelry. CZ was a nice imitation diamond but never held a candle to the real thing. Personally I prefer sapphires. No matter, I'll allow the Chinese Commie to return if he hawks deeply discounted natural pigeon blood red Burmese sapphires of one carat or more. Otherwise CZ does nothing for me.
On a brighter note, as Friday was my Birthday, I added several guns to my collection by pure happenstance. I pick up a Winchester Model 1894 with and 26 inch long octagon barrel in 38-55 caliber made in 1911 and coincidentally I picked up the another Model 1894 take down version and otherwise identical rifle made in 1912. To top off my birthday presents to myself I also picked up a semi auto Remington Model 550-1 in 22 rim fire of 1953 vintage. The the rifle is a unique 22 rim fire as it features a floating chamber that will reliably cycle 22 shot, 22 long, and 22 long rifle. I know of no other semi auto 22 that can do that. It's been a good birthday and now I can only afford a deeply discounted natural pigeon blood red Burmese sapphire.
The faster I go, the older I get.
