Marlin Dark

A heads-up on a new Marlin model just announced:

Available, most likely in the early autumn, in 30-30 or 45-70.

RRP is £1,249 and the word from the UK importer is, "currently on a very limited run from Marlin as demand across the world is huge. Orders need to be placed today to be on the production list to avoid disappointment."

For those interested, a deposit of £300 will secure your rifle, but do be prepared for a wait. Price includes RFD transfer.

Coo!
If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?

Not for me, I'll stick with my 50 year old Real JM Marlin 336 in 30-30 and my Henry in 45/70gov

My 336 when I bought it had less than 50 rounds through it from new, it's a keeper !

What would an economist, or even a rational human being who buys stuff, make of this statement?...

currently on a very limited run from Marlin as demand across the world is huge

You make a product for which there is a worldwide huge demand so you make a limited run of the product?

True! A totally nonsensical statement, as it stands. :cheese: :cheese:
