Almost certainly less than you think / hope!

You don't say where you are based but a local antique auction house would be your best bet or try Google.

There are probably forums out there that specialise on sword and blade collecting where you'd get a more accurate evaluation on it's value.

That said I'll give you a Fiver for it if you bear the postage to me. :) :) :) :)

You could offer it to Flintlock, he likes all things Russian and it would go down a treat for him to wave about when he's on his bicycle. :) :) :)

it is a Russian Cossack sabre, modern mass produced
retail in new condition is around £120/140 with the scabbard
probably worth around £20/30

unless you can prove its age ;) , 1923 is more likely the pattern not age

I'm sorry as I already have a gold plated British Admiralty sword made by Tatham of 37 Charing Cross, London. I tend to wave it around in thunder storms while wearing my aluminum foil Admiralty hat. I otherwise use my Klingenthal French Model 1831 (dated 1832) Foot Artillery Sword for bicycle work. It's shorter and easier to target slow moving aging rockers.
