Some extra information: The barrels on the Rugers are all from BSA Martini target rifles, cut, rechambered and machined to fit the Rugers.

I have an old BSA Martini .22lr, and it is still as accurate now as it was 40 years ago. I keep thinking that it's time to put it out to pasture, but I haven't found anything that even comes close yet.

Fellas, this thread is supposed to a place to show off various guns and encourage more visitors and more participation.

Will you please delete your posts if they don't contain pictures of guns or their descriptions.

Posts that end up in arguments will be defeating the point of the thread.

I bought this a while ago just because......
It's a German made revolver with German proof marks and not much else. It's in 38 caliber whatever that means. I thought that the 38 Smith and Wesson would be correct it predates a 38 Special. I found that it will accept a 38 Special shell that been cut down to half of it length but not a 38 Smith and Wesson at all. It's a not quite accurate German copy of a turn of the century Webley Metropolitan Police revolver and a WWII GI bring back from Germany. I would have taken home something else. When this gun was made, gun making in Germany for pistols such as these was a cottage industry and could have been made anywhere. No matter, the gun is a midsize frame and very handy. My buddy, the antique dealer, would love to carry in his store in a should holster, it's "antiquish". It's something to play with and eventually I'll make cartridges for it.

It's moved around now. I sold it to a club member to finance another rifle and Tony-Devon ended up with it.

He turned it into a Long Barrel Pistol the Philistine! :) :)

Very, very few. I rate it pretty highly for a cheap-ish off the shelf .22rf military lookie-likey.
All steel barrel so it doesn't have the hideous problems with wandering zero I have seen on friend's GSG MP5 copies (which shot to a different point of impact from every different shooting position, because of varying pressure on the paper-thin barrel in a plastic shroud. You can strip the Sig very simply (again unlike the GSG) and this one is pretty much totally reliable with subsonics (unlike the custom 10/22 I had before, which was to be honest, painful).
