My sister lives in the middle of London and has a problem fox that keeps crapping on her doorstep. Any advice as to how to deter the damn thing? Shooting is not an option given the location! Mind you, she would do it herself she is so fed up of cleaning fox shit off her kids shoes!

A big bear trap should do it! It might not catch the fox but it won't crap on her doorstep if the trap has an angry bear in it!
Failing that go to the local zoo and collect some male lion pee and then spread it on the doorstep - apparently foxes are intimidated by this!

Use your own pee, preferably after a night on the JD and a decent Curry, if you want to go further leave your own shit there, Foxes hate competition!! LOL
I am actually serious about your own PEE bit!

I've found using a labrador works a treat. Well mine clears all the fox poo up by rolling in it
