Have to tell you this .

I have a small pond which I shoot five times a year , I feed it all year round and usually shoot a dozen ducks per season . I just do a little walk up to it on my own and shoot at the ducks making good their escape . Today having topped up all the pheasant feeders and numerous other little keepering tasks I decided to take a look at the pond . I approached with stealth :worried: and made my presence known when I was about 10 yds from it , ten duck took to flight and I beaded up on a drake mallard  , I fired the right barrel which had a number 4 shot 36gms load , at the report 3 ducks fell to the ground  , 2 drakes and a duck 8-) the two drakes were dead and I quickly despatched the duck , The thing about this was that in the shock of 3 being shot by my initial shot I didn't even try at another with the other barrel  I was still well pleased though

C'mon and fess, it's Halloween and you scared the ducks to death with scary your get up as a water fowl hunter. Why else would you sneak up on the poor critters other than to go BOOOO and shock the life out them. Having said that, I love Duck L'Orange with wild rice stuffing or Polynesian Duck boneless breaded roasted crispy topped off with sweat sauce, cherries, and pineapple. Enjoy it you scary old man!!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;)

Did you catch the poacher who made the shot?
If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?

Would that be the little pond in the middle of the woods where I often stand on the second drive of the day? Not that there will be any duck on it after we've blasted away on the first drive
