These are my boots of choice for all things. Excellent quality, superbly made, great grip and as waterproof as wellies up to the top of the gusset. I have had these boots five and a half years, they have been re-soled by a specialist firm with Brasher soles. Full length zip means easy on and off and they are both light and very, very warm. To be honest I was so impressed with these boots I bought a second pair, just in case.

Now all things being equal, sometimes the doo-dah really does hit the fan. For those days I have a pair of Hunter Balmoral Neoprene Lined Zip Wellingtons. Being someone who owns footwear that are over 25 years old, you can judge that I value my kit (and my feet) and look after stuff. It works for me..

Nice boots. It's difficult to find such nice boots never buying them. Love the zippers.

Not cheap, but worth every penny. I know it gets a lot of knocking, but Bass Pro sell some good footwear. Danner boots, whatever style, are good quality.

I have very wide feet and it's a task to find shoes that fit. Unfortunately Danner isn't an option. The make nothing in my size. I wish that wasn't the case. I can walk into any shoe store and as a rule they will have nothing that will fit in any style. I end up ordering shoes on line from folks who stock extra, extra wide shoes. It'seems tough being a non conformist. ;) ;) ;)

I never really appreciated good shoes until I got older. A nice wearing pair make all of the difference in the world.

Alas, I see you don't get around much. No matter, a new episode of Walking Dead is on television tonight and I just bought a CZ 52 pistol in 7.62 x 25mm. Either way. I can't loose big feet and all. It was a good weekend.

I'm dealing a new hire heavy drug user and I swear he's Walking Dead zombified. Coincidently I wore out my work shoes so I had to special order extra, extra, extra wide shoes. It's all real, too real. Did I mention that I was out with 1911's and AR 15's this past weekend. You never know with possible zombies about.
