Would be nice to actually meet up and have a dram or ten :beers:

Hi Pete,

Glad you’re reasonably well and I’m kinda the same with osteoarthritis. I’m getting out when I can on roe, red and the gingers.

My numbers ends 372 so it’s worth checking that the number you have for me is kinda similar.

Best wishes mate,

Phil

Not what I've got I'm afraid but it is about ten years ago since we spoke  my number hasn't changed if you still have it, if not we'll just have to find a way round it  either pm or I'll ask Robbie if he has it. I think the only way we will travel anywhere this year is by hiring a camper type van, so where we go is entirely at the whim of swmbo, but she loves Perth and the area around Robbie, I've had many roe from Robbie's sisters patch, while she sits and paints  I'm just glad some of the old gang are not only alive but still around.

Pete, I’ll inbox my number to you. I did have your number but as everything else I lose/misplace/delete things I shouldn’t etc etc etc…I’ve no doubt Robbie will have it.
He’s currently away ‘dahn sowf’ for a few days but I catch up with him when he’s back. We still regularly shoot Dunkeld pretty much every week.

His sisters place is no longer his sisters place and I have the permission now.
Still taking roe and gingers from it in abundance.

I still buying and shooting all kinds of cool stuff. I have year of age over SidebySide but I haven't slowed down much. I'm still fully employed at 71 and still playing with hazardous chemicals. I made a formal announcement the I intend to fully retire next April when I turn 72. The company asked if I would consult afterward.

My latest purchase in a non firing Browning M1919A6 machine gun. The' barrel's blocked with welds and the action isn't fully operable but it made with lots of the original parts and looks like the real thing, I haven't bother to tell my wife about my new acquisition although she would happy that is can't use 30-06 rounds. Other than that life goes on.

It's good hearing from you Phil. Are you still working the oil rigs?

Jesus Christ, David, are you still alive?

It’s great to hear from you old friend.

I’d imagine that old MG looks awesome and a half decent ‘smith would get her up and running again for some fast action fun.
:cheese:

I’m no longer off shore, I went back to university and I’m a State registered health professional. I’ll leave the details of that to another area of the forum.

Keep well my friend,

Phil

Back to university  , well done you   lifelong learning is something I always encourage. Well done too for getting the permission on Robbie's sister's old spread, I never failed to score there, just like I've never got a deer at Dunkeld, but did have an excellent session on the rabbits with Robbie driving the speed machine and operating the lamp at the same time   .

Dave,
It would be good to get this place back up to full tilt again.

Then we need to get some of the 200 plus guests who are skulking but not posting to actually join in and ask some questions. I can't believe that between us we have exhausted every topic possible about all forms of shooting

Note that is copied from a post that I put up several months ago. This fellow's IP indicates that he's out of Dearborn, Michigan but his New Balance footer below indicates that he's a spammer. Either he post something appropriate to the site or he will be invited to leave. I'll give him one chance and if he fails that I'll banned him from the site and erase all of his posts. Then he can shove his New Balance sneakers elsewhere.
