I have a problem with my medical records in that it denotes' schizophrenia' when I've never been diagnosed with. let me explain, I've been asking around my GP surgery what diagnosis do I declare, he checks his records, in two minds about what to say to me. He also says half-heartedly i can apply, but in order to be sure he convinces, me i need to see the local Specialist. Then in april 2019, I see him,get the letter from him and for the first time in my life, i get a four page NHS report by the Consultant saying I've had schizophrenia recorded as a diagnosis from 2013. Of course i can find no trace of it, to put him in his place i seek a second private opinion which clears me of schizophrenia somewhat, but shooting member doctors says 'don't show it to police. well that's understandable, the written report is based on all sorts of biased information, and its terribly incriminatory to plant a fictitious schizophrenia diagnosis on a normal person.
Basically, shooting organisation says if GP records are incomplete, they'll look at merits, to say they are incomplete is an understatement, don't make any sense, no trace of harm, selfharm, sectioning and all the things you associate with schizophrenia. has to be seen to be believed. and the worst thing is the NHS specialist report describes under history of present illness, my rational interest in hunting, airguns, knives etc but no psychotic illness described.
So our docs are having a nasty jibe at my chosen hobby which is criminal.
Of course the local constabulary knows, but its not going to help.
