new fox/deer rife 12 days & counting:-)

Postby skany » Thu Apr 24, 2008 10:29 pm

Well after a long wait due to having a few problems with some fairly important components my rifle is almost finnished:-)

Picking it up on the 6th of may I think i have prety much everything ready for the pending new toy :?

it should bridge the gap of charlie & bambie & be something that wont devalue much & to say im a little exited is a bit of a understatement!

Ill also be using it on Loooooooooooooooooooong range bunnys & corvids :DD

theres a been a few twists & turns along the way & the only big desision left is what moderator it will end up with

stealth 10/wildcat/atec they all seem to have the odd problem but ill make my mind up one day

I am a little disapointed before i even get the rifle with the fact its going to be dressed in a McMillan A5 which just sems a load of crap compaired to the one that was incorect & I had to send back to the states  (robertsons masterclass)

Ill have to say Neil(aka Dasherman) has been more then helpfull/patient with my indesision & the setbacks I presnted him!(cheers mate  )

cheers Andy

Where's the pics then? :)

Just looking at your original post - you say you are disappointed not to have the Robertsons stock, but I thought they only did target jobs?

Hi Kev

its a very simuler stock to the Mcmillan really

its just finished miles better & the hardware is on a differnt planet!(tizz a bit blingin tho)

it would have been a bit bling if i did use that stock & to be honest it will proberly be for the best that it worked out like this!

had a rush around to get the powder & a P8 compact (alto i have the 30cal one as its all they had & are getting me in the corect one!)

havent had time to scrach my arse yet bull get some pics up tomorrow or friday :)
