Actually, speaking as a CZ shooter, I suspect I do see slightly more consistent, tighter groups from some Anschutz's in our club (we regularly hold 100yd shoots with .22 rfs and have an ongoing aggregate competitions based on 100yd groups). Probably not enough difference to affect performance in the field (for the cost difference), but maybe enough to win the matches. Obviously ammo selection and preparation is also key.
So I would say if you really care about accuracy, the Anschutz may assist a little, assuming you are prepared to do all the ammo testing/batching, etc.
Having said that, I am more than happy with my CZ455!
