Once you start, you're hooked.
(5) 10/22s and the only thing original on them is the bolt and receiver. The last one I bought cost $150.00 That rifle is now worth $900.00 (Price of Nikon scope not included)

Hogue "Over Molded" stock.
Volquartsen Carbon Fiber barrel (it has a tensioned stainless steel insert) Same accuracy as a SS bull barrel but, a lot lighter
Volquartsen TG2000 trigger.
To add reliabilty: replace the Ruger extractor with a Volquartsen "Exact Edge" and replace the steel bolt stop pin with a poly-urethane pin
After she shoots that she'll be more receptive to your request to "do something" with yours. (we'll go with a Kidd trigger)
I don't call mine "Bunny Bashers" More like "fly splatterers"

Guys, if you search on Ebay Delrin rod they sell it in 12 inch lengths meaning you get loads of buffer pins for about £3-00 you just have to cut it to fit.
