Shooting Buddy Required -Aberdeenshire

Thu Nov 13, 2014 9:33 pm

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me?

Me and my partner have applied for our rifle & shotgun licences but our FEO has asked for us to get some more recent experience. It's been a few years since the bulk of our experience, except for the odd shoot here or there more recently.
We don't have any pals with licences to take us out. We have tried asking around, putting up ads and haven't had any luck. We haven't had any luck finding local gun clubs for training..
We don't need training, just more recent experience... But figured anything is better than nothing...

We are offering payments for these sessions. We have land & permission (New Deer), willing to travel and £25 per hour but still no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Really struggling to find people willing to spare us some time.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

One problem is that it's YOUR permission , the FAC holder would also need permission to shoot on that ground , in writing . Or there could be problems , be careful.
