First car

Got a shooting vehicle or just a run about?

First car

My first car was similar to this one, same colur, similar condition( ) but on an "A" plate.

Sadly in Germany it met an Opel Capitan sideways at 60mph and didn't survive!

My first car was a mini, I paid £25 for it and probably spent another £26 on cataloy, mesh and and fibre glass to get it through the MOT. It was so old it didn't have a letter after the number but even after two engine transplants (one of them with two fewer gears than the one it replaced) and God knows how many washers stuffed into the master cylinders to reduce the stroke length, and not forgetting that bloody awful clutch slave cylinder and that top engine mount with all the slogger on it, I do have to admit I enjoyed owning it.

All of the pictures were taken at a Mini Rally at the Tramway Museum near Belper.

I always aspired to one of these, sadly I no longer have the flexibility to get into one:

My Brother in Law (Joke supplier) has one of the last Minis built:

Flinty you can always find loads of Minis:

Of course we must not forget Tommo's first transport:

At the height of it's popularity I do believe more children were conceived in Mini Vans than in beds!
If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?

I imagine you probably aspired to one of these when you were young. A racy two sweater sports model.

Looks if Flintsy had one in his youth though.

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no such thing as "American English". There is the English language and there are mistakes.

Wouldn't you know that I was looking at one of those exactly like that but without horses and passengers in the Well's Fargo Bank in Salt Lake City. There was a sign next to it that said "please stay off of ther stage coach".
It's as if those folks could read my mind.
