The air cylinder on the S series is in two parts and there is always movement between the two. This means that if you anchor the front of the sight block onto the cylinder there will be movement and inaccuracy.
The same will occur if the block is anchored into the fore end.
There's still no protection for the eyes either if the breech seal fails and dirt and grit is blown backwards.
