Selling an air rifle?

I am selling my air rifle because I am fed up with having to charge the thing and want to get a springer again.

Anyway the guy who has replied to the ad wants me to post it to him (I will get the money first obviously) but I was under the impression that air rifle sales even second hand had to be done face to face now as with firearms.

Does anyone know if this is the case or can I post it to him?

Rich, it's only face to face when the sale is done by an RFD, private sellers and buyers do not have the same restriction.

Saw an articlein a recent magazine at mylocal RFD recently on a new lever air gun.
It is a lever PCP and was £699, although can't remember the make.
Looked like a good improvement over lever spring,then at that price...
