Daystate wolverine rabbit and pigeon pest control

Impressive on pigeon but nothing too impressive on bunnies, regular .22 air rifles produce the same results

Chris

no ,no they don’t do they, they were splattered that white/red stuff you see is brains spraying out,and forgive me if i am wrong but i have never seen a 12fpe air rifle consistently hit knock down 40mm targets at 100 yards in a 15mph cross wind
it is one serious air rifle, but you need to be into air rifles to appreciate this ;)

You need to be into spending shit loads of money on a thing that in the real world is easily beaten for a lot less cash :thdn:

I'm not a airrifle hater but this is a bit of fun powder burners do a better job and its less bother IMO
I shoot more bullets than Topper Harley in hotshots part deux

True, at normal airgun distance a headshot is a headshot though. for the money you could get some beauty rimfires but I think it is what it is. If you wanted raw power the rogue .357 would be a better bet, but wouldn't be as well made as the daystate.

Hello

Let me introduse myself first .
My name is Dennis , im from the Netherlands .
Once a month or so i go with a couple of friends to a indoor 110Yards firing range . Where we shoot with some various pre charged pneumatic air rifles .

Since last week i have a Daystate Wolverine .303
My local gunsmith installed a .308 Lothar walter air rifle barrel on it .

Yesterday i took it to the firing range .
This thing is a Beast .
We tried 160Grain .308 bullets at 110Yards .

Here is a link to a youtube video .
I wanted to share this link because this air rifle has so much potential .

This Wolverine .308 is from my shooting mate . He also gets amazing results from the .308 barrel .

In the following months i will test out some 95 Grain , 120 Grain 140 Grain , and 155 Grain solids .
I will post some results here .
Yesterday my best 5 shot group at 110 Yards was 2.1inch
I fired the Daystate from a external air regulator at 150 Bar ( 2175 PSI )

Greetings Dennis :)

Welcome Dennis, that looks like fun, which is what target shooting should be. It doesn't matter if a rimfire will do the job for 1/4 the price if you enjoy shooting air.

Nice range too, but why the bullet proof vest ?

Just a (tired brain) idea: if one was shooting from or near a vehicle, could an air compressor/rifle combination be suitably adapted to provide continuous HP air, to eliminate the small shot number?
