Looking at a prestige black cat but know very little about them, between that or a bsa ultra which I know are good. Does anyone have any info on the black cat?
thanks

How much do you have to spend? Are you keeping it under 12fpe? Or putting it on a ticket?
For under 12fpe air arms s5/410 takes some beating likewise the weihrauch hw100 if you can get used to the side lever loading

If going FAC I would suggest a buddy bottle rifle Theoben rapid or Daystate ranger/ Airwolf BSA r10 is a nice gun although a little short in the stock for some, but go for the mkII they seem to have a better reputation.

No clue on black cats not even heard of them tbh but that's not to say they are no good!

I had the ultra and it was a very good gun,the scorpion is very good as well,i know little about black cat guns though :?
As said it depends on what you have to spend.there are plenty of good air guns i can suggest, but i need to know whatyour using it for as well as how much ;)

They are a prestige airguns black cat, made by evanix I think they are a bit of a blinged up version of webley venom, buffalo horn blot handle etc, 120 shots in .22 :-D

Looking at a single shot scorpion or ultra in .177 as like single shot for accuracy

The venom wasn't the best gun when made in the UK, so god know what it will be like with Korean monkey metal!
These are also sold under the brand Kub (just seen it on an airgun forum) they don't get a good write up to be fair I will send you the link if you wish.

As for single shot being more accurate I can't see how so long as you don't try to reload at lightning speed I have never had a problem.
The BSA ultra had a terrible shot count 50 ish even at sub 12.

Have found an AA s200 at 299.99 at a dealer near me 3 month old as new on first charge of air still, think it's the one to go for as I'm told they are excellent,

How many shots do you need in the field :? ,besides its more like 40
You can also get it regulated and adjusted by a guy called tench, this gives you over 100 usable shots for around £100 .
You would be hard pressed to find a more versatile field gun than a tenched ultra for the money

Daystate Panther is a bit on the heavy side. I have a MK4 Daystate and it's the dogs dangles, this will be the last I ever fire as I love it. Obviously a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

As much as the s200 is tempting me I think maybe the bsa lightning XL tactical with quality scope and mounts may be more up my street (I love springers) have had a tx200 and was thinking about one again but to heavy in field for accurate shooting and to big to shoot from my car as I regularly use it as a hide!

If you haved owned a tx200 you will be disapointed with the lightening, its not that there a bad gun, just that a tx200 is far better ;)

The TX was fantastic on the range but always felt like it hindered itself in the field as was hold sensitive and weight made it difficult to use a loose artillery hold, other than that it was excellent and could hold groups against a pcp on the range, also the lightning is a bit more compact with no wooded stock to dent
