Yes people are realy friendly here, i am also a newbie here having given up my guns when i moved abroad, i was invited out for a night at the foxes by hungryrob with his mate, using their guns and ammo and had a fantastic night ,i didnt get any foxes but that was not important had a brill night out, i would advise you just stick at it as you are aware "permissions" dont get given out "willy nilly" just stick at it and you will get there eventually, good luck in your search
Cheers

Great bunch on here, friendly and generous. I have enjoyed a few fantastic days shooting with John (SBS) on his shoot and the other guns there have always been friendly and supportive.
I have been on a few other shooting sites, English and American and I must say none come close!

I even treated a couple of UK types to shooting in the US. They're Coldfinger's buddies and when the wandered through my area of New England we hit the rifle range and we went on a battleship tour as a plus.

In answer to your question, a simple yes could tell you the truth, however I dont think that its that simple! When I moved from working down south to being up in Scotland the forum put me in touch with a great bunch of lads who, when I had nothing in the area were kind enough to take me out and share some shooting with me! Out of this (with their help) also developed some of my own permissions!

Thats the bottom line, however the "REAL" win is the fantastic friends that I have made that will be friends for life because thats the sort of guys they are!
If it has a trigger I'm gonna enjoy it!

Look - an eagle!
