as some may know dave helped me trade in my 177 fx verminator as i could not get on with it :thdn:
i've wanted the hw100kt for ages and was going to get one when the fx turned up at the rfd, which i bought on impulse and instantly regretted it :thdn: .
nothing wrong with it apart from it did not feel right, was to light and the mags were way to small, buy in haste and repent at leisure

any way my shiny new 22 hw100k turned up on Thursday so today i scoped it up with a 3-12x32 mtc viper connect and took it out for a quick play. zeroed in 4 shots at 25 yards it was putting pellet on pellet with boring reliability. so my mrs started calling out random targets and laser ranging them for me 8-) (first time she has ever done this for me :hmm: ).
we spent another 15 mins making dandelions explode at various distances  .
the gun is a joy to use it feels nice to hold, points well, is as accurate as you are and has the best magazine/loading system i have used. flick the side lever and it springs back another 1/2" pull cocks it then just push it forward.you can not double load the gun by accident(common aa s410 problem) as the magazine will not turn again till you give the last 1/2" pull. you get two mags and they holds 14 shots each, simple solid metal machined discs with a outer oring to secure the pellets in place, and the mags are held in place by a sliding catch connected to the index system.
i think this is my favourite air rifle to date,it beats the ultra which i loved

I had a look at one of those MTC's, the eye relief is a bit strange, you have to be so close to it, but its this that helps give the scope its very wide field of view  I like it.
Black powder smoke ....... the shot seemed ok... but it takes ages to find out :D

Certainly looks different, I have enough trouble coming to terms with my 10x42 S&B with its 3 inch eye relief.

eye relief what eye relief, the scope touches the side of my nose to get a sight picture  , would not recommend it on a centrefire

That scope doesn't look right at all. I use a Viper on my HW100 (currently a fixed 10x, though I have used the same as yours) and it sits where one would expect:
