HFT club insurers

Does anyone know the main insurance companies that provide insurance to field target and hunter field target clubs in the UK?
If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?

You're going to ask about insurance for 12ftlb rifles that are held on an FAC being insured for HFT and FT aren't you? :) :)

I bet you get another ban.

I did chase this up a few years ago, and the 2 companies I checked with said that it didn't matter a damn. Unfortunately computer crashes and data loss means I don't know which ones they were.

I do rather remind myself of the boy that pointed out the facts about the Kings new clothes.

The insurance offered by clubs is usually managed by a company like Lycetts commercial, the cover can be provided by a panel of insurers the most common are

Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Ltd
AIG Europe Ltd
Aviva Insured Ltd
Covea Insurance plc

This is a panel and could cover the UK, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, they can also cover abroad shoots.

So after you join a club or sign for insurance one company would manage your insurance but there could be several that are the providers etc.

this is what i understood it as when sorting my insurance
Honest honey this is the last gun I will ever need
