Or use a rifle 'vice' to hold each one steady.

Ok, we will get a third party to shoot both guns then, yeh.

At the end of the day, if both rifles are shot the same by the same person, then we probably wont be able to tell the difference.

Can you not make it up anytime this week with me up the farm or hills, Sunday is ages away?

The only one I've handled is the HW 100 and I have to admit I'm already sold on it.

Now that I own both, i can say from experience, that there is no accuracy differences between the two. I can and have put one hole groups at 30 yards with both rifles with their favorite pellet. The Daystate is a beautiful looking rifle where as the HW100 looks mean. The DS has a greater shot count, approx 30 shots extra per charge.

I really do love the cycling action on the HW100, it is famous for this, where as the DS is better balanced and is lighter and points better.

Ill stand by what I say here, Try before you buy they both have their advantages and disadvantaged etc.

In terms of accuracy they are both just awesome plain and simple.

I do also think that this Poll is not really the way to decide which is the better gun, most if not all people will be will be voting on the rifle that they own or just the one that they have had a go off. I don't believe anyone can give accurate feed back unless they have had a real good go at both. I include myself at the time i created this Poll.

Again now that I have owned both, try before you buy.

If it is "out of the box" then I may be swayed towards HW100, however, I bought a Regal about a year ago, lovely thing, however after a suspected clipping issue and rainbow like power curve I wasn't that chuffed with it. I sent it to Carl Garbett at AirTech and what came back is nothing short of amazing, he fitted a regulator (bespoke to the rifle), cut back the shroud and threaded the barrel for my silencer, all with a full tune for £85, which is astoundingly cheap considering the quality of the work.
I have been out a couple of times with my mate and his HW100K FSB and it has to be said that IMHO my Regal is better, it's lighter, has a higher shot count, is marginally quieter and is far prettier. It's a really lovely rifle and I couldn't be more chuffed.
So if I was offering advice it would be to pick up a good secondhand Regal and send it to Carl, you simply won't be disappointed.

Given the above choice, then I would go for the HW.

However, I were to allowed to make an alternative choice, then it would be an AA S200.
