Why bother with a 100fpe air rifle - buy a .22lr rimfire! ;)

Excactly. You could get a rimmy for half the price. Just as safe as a 100 ftlb air rifle lobbing big pellets!

Total waist of air tbh and they are real noisey!

@ 100 ft/lbs of ME there is no difference at all between a wolverine and any .22LR lobbing lumps of lead down range.
so get a rimfire and save on both the gun cost and cost of feeding it

I doubt very much, reading his post again, that he'll get a .303 cal air rifle if he can't get .22LR for the same permission :hmm:

Ayeyp you've got to bear with me I'm new to the firearms bit
I can only have .22 air rifle which I know isn't wolverine I've been told that the permission has been passed for rim fire etc so I'm just enquiring with licensing about what exactly I can use I'm getting very confused

if it's passed for rimfire calibres and you have permission the old bill can't stop you having one  ;)
