AA S410 TDR

Was thinking of getting one of these,

Been speaking to a guy who said they can have some trouble with the bolt?

Anyone got an opinion about them regarding quality and performance?

Mine works just fine and can be carried about without looking like a gun bag. My only issue was once when surrounded by literally 100's of rabbits and fever took over and I didn't work the bolt firmly enough to rotate the magazine and load the next pellet, hence a pop and bugs gets away. This couldn't happen with the much easier Weirauch 100 cocking system. So if you get one try and be methodical and don't get excited

LOL

Drawn to S410 TD for its low profile

going to be going down south in the near future and rather than car "as im now not allowed to drive due to medication for injury i got few month ago" be going on the train, which is also the reason for how to store a pcp post.

i am a fan of side leaver rifles which i think is what the Weirauch 100 supports?" and also of AA rifles "like there made in the uk etc" but was thinking of the S410 TD purely because the S410 has a great reputation for accuracy and quality,

please feel free to post any other suggestions regarding a take down rifle with a low travel profile.

But so far think i will be getting the AirArms

But great review Pete thanks

hw100 are side lever as are aa s510, aa s410 are bolt action.
as far as i know they do not make a s510 take down.

the fx verminator are sidelevers and come in a hardbox, i had one in 177 good gun but i could not get on with 177

not had a take down s410 but had a normal one good guns but you have to be positive with the bolt or you can get double feeds

hw100 rock, but not take down

nice pics

i have the AA s510 sub 12ft/lb rifle, mine is the hunter light. its the poplar version hence the "light" as it is 20% lighter that walnut "i think" and has a green tint to stock, not sure how the wood will hold up over time but very pleased so far.

Hi Nathan:
I use wood of "beech vaporized".
The stock is light. (+/- 730 grs. / 1,60 lbs)
