Afternoon all, i apologise for the lack of replies from me; the wifi has been down and trying to get around the forum using my phone proved difficult due to the screen size
(i should have put at the start i'll be using the gun for rough shooting) Despite that, i'd like to thank you all very much for your productive replies! I've read them all carefully and took in what you said. With the information from your replies, i'm going to start concentrating on the .177 market. Also, by the looks of it, Air Arms with a few adjustments can produce excellent results. My Dad and his friend had always used .22 (Falcon Fn12 and Falcon Fn19) so i think thats why i were more inclined to look for a .22 when i first started looking at rifles, they always seemed to get results from them. But, like i said i'll now start looking into the .177 market
it seems like the best option. Also, is it best to stick to PCP? I think i'd prefer to but i just want a couple of opinions really. I don't want to be spending ridiculous amounts on my first gun as i'm guessing a lot of people want to upgrade after they have gained experience and more knowledge so my limit would be £450-£500 i'd say. Thank you all again chaps, your replies are very much appreciated
