Yorkshire permissions

Can anyone advise me where I can get a days rough shooting around Yorkshire. I am a Basc insured legal limit air gun shooter. I have only shot on ranges but I'd like to try a bit of pest shooting. I know about knocking on farmers doors etc but haven't had any luck so far. I don't mind paying a fee. I just want to see what the experience is like before I put more effort into getting permissions. Thanks

You don't say where in Yorkshire you are but a local gun club is a good way of making that sort of contact. Some of my mates have had bunny bashing or ratting trips through mates made through our local gun club. However, it takes time, there has to be time to establish trust...
