HW100K

Postby Treeman » Sun May 25, 2008 7:23 pm

I used to have a .177 HW100K and I miss that gun it was a good un that for sure.

Just wondering if I were to get a new one can they tuned to any degree? I like a custom gun I do! :)

Currently I have a mates Air Ranger .177 with a Wolf stock and it is clinical but I've not bonded with it in the same way as I did with my HW.

Concentrate on what you see through the sight and what you can hit. If you hit what you aim at forget about "bonding" with the rifle and get on with it, there's nothing spiritual going on, kill what you aim at.

A rifle is a tool, it's not like a horse.

I dunno ownership of something you like is important to me in the sense that I gain pleasure from the actual gun itself.

Be at one with the HW100K 8-)

Now I have an image of your HW100 adorned with feathers and mystic symbols, like a Red Indian spear or Tomahawk.

Except that Jamie's is more likely to be liberally covered with photos of Gary Cooper (probably naked ones).

"Oh Great Spirit Of Cooper, grant me success in everything I shoot that I may be like you, my hero"......etc.

Nothing wrong with 'bonding' with your gun chaps. A custom thumbhole walnut stock (same pattern as the original but better quality timber) deep blue finish and maybe a reg from BTAS.

A good dependable luxury working tool.

Hi

I have recently returned to shooting and have bought several rifles

I have a new airwolf and MTC scope and i bought a HW100 for hunting with a much cheaper scope ( dont want to damge the wolf)!

The problem is ....I shoot better with the HW100....

Problem is I love the looks of the Wolf and keep going to comps with it
