New, capable and willing. Partner required - West Scotland

Postby nomadcelt » Wed May 28, 2008 10:10 am

Good morning,

I'm new to this forum, having just been recommended to come across from another.

I'm 29, in the Army, experienced enough and living in the Loch Lomond area of Scotland.

I've had a Mk2 Meteor since August last year. I've stripped it down, refurbished it completely and it now puts out around 11.5ftlbs (Chrono Tested) depending on pellet. I've been using it for general marksmanship pratice in the garden and nothing more. I've spent this last year learning everything there is to know about laws, guidelines and best practice principles.

I now want to get out and bag a few squirrels and rabbits (although the missus would kill me if I brought them home) but wouldn't mind being shown the ropes by someone more experienced in the this field.

Anyone interested, let me know - anything we bag would be yours to keep!

Welcome to the forum :)
I'd be glad to show you the basics, but it would be a fair drive over here.

Kev.

Welcome aboard mate; nice introduction. I have a small shoot down near Auchterarder and several more larger ones further north at Dunning if you ever fancy coming that far north. Gavin (dogfox) should also be back on the scene soon and is always happy to have company.

Welcome aboard the forum. What side of the loch are you on...
