Swarovski Service

Postby libensvolenspotens » Sat Aug 16, 2014 9:56 am

Gents,

I have to commend Swarovski upon their great service.
I have a pair of Swarovski SLK 8X30 binoculars which I use for stalking.
Recently the knurled knob for adjusting single eye focus had cracked and was lost.
I am off to Africa in October and wwill be taking the binos with me so thought I'd better have them repaired.
I checked out the Swaro website and got their address. I didn't fancy the hassle of posting them to Austria so checked out local dealres.
The Camera Centre in Cardiff was listed so I popped them in there.
I work abroad so was away for a month.
Yesterday I popped in to collect my binoculars.
They were as new! in a box, new covers everything! Well still had my strap which is how I recognised them!
The cost?
Not a penny! Absolutely free!

Many thanks to Swarovski and the Cardiff Camera Centre!

Brilliant!!!!

I've had the same experience with Swarovski. Their USA facility is in Rhode Island and a short drive from my home. My binoculars went out of collimation where the lenses were not focused together. I dropped them off at their facility and the set their collimation equipment to match my eyes and then rebuilt the binoculars with new prisms and set the collimation to match my eyes. They told me my binoculars we essentially a new pair. They are as sharp and clear as it gets. There was no cost to me at all. Swarovski has great products and the best customer service when there's a problem.
The faster I go, the older I get.

Broke the eyepiece on mine years ago, rang them up, two brand new replacements arrived next day.

Stunning Service, great bino's,

My son has a Z4 on loan from Swarovski and he has used it today at Blairadam range. What a piece of optics it is.
You could see the vortex as the round went down range.

Hi I was having problems with my 8x50 habicht scope, would not hold zero, then I could not even track it. Sent email, reply right away post them to us and we will ship them to the repair centre in Austria
Received email today that they had been received in Surrey yesterday and were sent to Austria today, can't fault them so far. I will update when I have them back.

Hi sorry for late update. Three weeks later received letter bill, send payment to ************** cost Nil. Bit confused about bill  Next day scope arrives. Unboxed looked brand new apart from deep scratch about 3mm I had done myself. Invoice for work, parts, and labour. I was starting to get worried about cost then turned to second page of invoice, remember to check zero when you remount to rifle. Total for work carried out 0 cost. Great service from a Great Company who stand by their products.

I think they HAVE to raise a invoice as a 'works order' so the job can be done, with NIL as the cost.

Great stuff, you do indeed get what you pay for.
