scope valuation ???

Postby michael40 » Mon Aug 13, 2012 3:45 pm

hi all, i have a second hand falcon Merlin 10x42 scope which came on a rifle i bought.
being fixed mag i will not be using it and might as well pass it on.
i have had a quick look around trying to find a idea of what sort of money these go for second
hand but as of yet cant find much to go on.
so i would like to ask the more knowledgeable members what there thoughts of an asking price might be.
its in good used condition with a mil dot ret, without any crimping or ring marks. there is some wear to the side focus
wheel around the edge and one small ding showing a bit of alloy.apart from that its pretty much the same as any other
scope of that quality i guess.
so if you could give me a rough idea, it would be of some help.....

there is
1, falcon 10x42 scope
1, large falcon aluminum side wheel {new, never fitted}
1, 40mm sunshade
1, 60mm sunshade
thanks, atb, mike

Which reticle does it have...??

If it's the MP20 I'd be interested at, say £140.00

Oooops... it's MilDot, sorry missed that, it's in the thread :oops: :roll:
