Postby Stewartyg » Sat Aug 18, 2012 2:52 pm

Hi everyone it's me again looking help!!

I have bought a lamp for my rifle which mounts on top if my scope. It came with mounts and all my only problem is I have a 50mm objective lens and the beam Is hitting it. It is still giving of good light but I fear I'm loosing 2 much hitting the scope.

Does any one know where to get taller mounts for lamps and how much? I will check dimensions later and update!!

Another way to consider is a barrel mount, holding the gun under the barrel.

Thanks for the advice fellas.

The mount has 25mm rings at each end and is 20mm from ring to ring.

One of these will sort you out. http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/gun-light ... mount.html
Or have a trawl through e-bay for scope/ring mounted weaver rail and a then just a weaver ring on the lamp.

Neil. :)

Thanks Neil looks to be a good job. Goin to see what happens as my dealer has a nice new 452 in with synthetic stock and a larger scope but the objective lens is smaller so my current mount would work-he has me tempted just has to mention the magic number!!
