Leupold Rangefinders

Postby hungryrob » Sun Sep 28, 2008 10:41 pm

I bought a pair of Leupold Rangefinding bino's in January this year from the US.

They are the upgraded model from the old Wind River model I used to have with true ballistic range etc.. Cost me a bomb.

Anyway; I could never get them to work; they would switch off after the first use, showing battery failure all the time. I meant to send them back but still haven't got round to it. I kept using them out of necessity over the summer and gradually the problem has gone away. I can only think it's down to the battery I was using having discharged a little and they were punting out too high a voltage when new....

Anyone else had a similar problem With Leupolds?
