Who fixes old binoculars?

Postby Flanker » Mon Nov 12, 2012 8:10 pm

My spare pair of binos are Carl Zeiss Jena 8x30. I like them and the diopter has just popped out the back - no idea why, didn't drop them or any thing, they live in my glove compartment - one day working, next day not in one piece. :(
They're not worth a fortune, any idea where I can get them fixed without paying a fortune? In Scotland preferably :?:

I sent a scope to these guys and they did a great job. Total cost was around £60 if I remember right...

They did my Carl Zeiss Jenoptems 8x30's, brilliant job!

£35 was the cost, plus postage, that was 8 years ago, so allow for inflation!

Got a quote for £55 to do the repair and service the bins. Not bad I'd say, cheaper than a new pair of Zeiss bins by a long shot. Nice people too.
