Adjustable turrets

Postby Stewartyg » Tue Nov 13, 2012 4:59 pm

Hi everyone think I already know the ans to this but was wondering can you add the adjustable/resettable turrets to an existing scope?
I'm looking to be able to adjust for windage without spending a lot of money on a new scope!!

What scope have you got fella? Chances are you wont be able to if your scope doesnt have target turrets.

Sniper is correct...

Look at the MTC range of scopes.. cost effective if you require Turrets..

It's easy to do.

The adjusters that have a slot in them for a coin or screwdriver have a ring around the slot with markings on. This engraved ring is glued in with a weak contact adhesive.

The ring is gently prised out which leaves a groove. Clean the groove to remove old adhesive. You then glue small pillar into the groove. Once the glue has set a turret cap fits over the pillar. The cap can be wrapped with tape and range markings put on it.

The photos show a turret without tape and one with tape on my LBP
