Cheers noted :)

It's moved from £100, to trying to keep it under £200.

Thanks for all the help guys, it ended up as a toss up between a redfield revenge, Hawke Sidewinder tactical or panorama and a Nikon Prostaff.

I really liked the look of the Hawke, but, I ended up decided a 40 or 44 would just be too big on the small G22. Hawke did do a smaller 32mm, but in their cheaper range. So it then went to redfield, the revenge would have to be imported, but looked a really good option. But the more I read up on the Nikon the more I decided that I liked not only what I heard from all the good reviews, but it was the right size and had the smooth looks.

Only time will tell if I made the right choice!

Now onto scope mounts, nice looking, solid, decent 1" x 20mm low mounts seem in short supply! Looking for the slimmer rounded style, not entirely sure what the style is called but they should suit the Nikkon a treat.

The downside to the Nikon is the 32 doesn't have BDC reticle, and there is no illumination either, but I didn't see a single bad review on it, so decided to take the plunge!

I'll report back my findings and appreciate you guys steering me clear of a lot of potential 'bad' makes and glass.

Cheers!

On my monarch I use bkl double strap mounts. I thin you'll find the single strap are nice and small but extremely high quality
