Finally tracked one down....Zeiss scope

I've been after a Zeiss Victory Diavari 6-24x56T Illuminated, but for the right money. Today, it arrived - a guy had two(!!) of them, and is keeping the latest version with the AVS turrets, but sold the other. I've just got in from work, it's pissing down and dark, but this thing still let me see clearly with very little street lighting where I was testing it - so it's going to be stunning under the lamp, I'm sure. Dunno what they're worth in the UK, but they're stupid money here new (See the price tag on the box from when the original owner bought it!!), and still bloody expensive in the US, so I was very pleased with my bargain.

The wife, when she saw the price, not so much....

Now all I have to do is sell the Leupold Mk 4 it replaced! Can't wait to get it on the 204 at the weekend!

Real money? Do you mean the Euro or US$?

I think they are US$3k new in the US now...which is about £2k. Or $100 if the wife asks.....

Worst thing I ever did (apart from not getting Myleene Klass's phone number) was selling my Zeiss Diavari - stunning!

Night Club on the Wirral years ago (she was 21), before she got famous but always remembered the name, she was a little stunner, a few dances, a cuddle, but she had just broke up with someone and wanted some more time so I didn't push it :( :( :(

And to be totally honest, she probably didn't fancy me either, even though I have a passing resemblence to her Ex-hubby!
