Scope mounts question

Postby Les » Thu Nov 14, 2013 6:05 pm

I recently bought a used Leupold without mounts & read somewhere that steel mounts were preferable to alloys. As this is only for a .22 rimmie, is there really much difference? Local rfd suggests alloys at £30 will be fine.

A decent set of alloys will be fine unless your .22 is to be used for world class bench rest.
If you don't have to give up your car because other people commit crimes in their cars, why should I have to give up my firearms because other people commit crimes with their firearms?
