Don't buy cheap glass!

Evening all. Having no luck finding rabbits during daylight so I need to try dusk/dawn or even night time so...was wondering if anyone could recommend a suitable lamp with enough light/range for a .22. I'd be alone so presumably it'd need to be scope mountable. I did a search on here but saw nothing recent & don't want selling something by a dealer who just wants a sale. Scope is a Leupold 50x8-12.

Hi Les,
I've just got one of these and it seems it puts out plenty of light for a rimfire, over 100 yards.
http://www.7dayshop.com/7dayshop-torch- ... NyZWUrdDY=I also got the rechargeable battery kit:
http://www.7dayshop.com/7dayshop-batter ... 10ZXN0ZXJzAnd to scope mount it:

Cheers

On a .22, something like this:

More than enough light output to spot bunnies at 150+ yards, it adds next to no weight and a single set of batteries will last a few nights.
I actually made a mistake in the video, it outputs 830 lumens, not 630.

Thanks for the replies. Ended up with a Ledray 300 which (they say) has a range of 250 mtrs, inc rechargeables, coloured lenses, charger for around £110. Time will tell.

This one has an amazing beam for the price but its a very narrow beam it's good for not illuminating a larger area and scaring off quarry YouTube vid below.

Hi
There is a great selection on
www.shootingtorches.comI recently got a UF-t20 full set with Panasonic rechargeable battery and a spare red led insert for £64 with mount and charger, and remote pressure switch ect. Not sure if it would be powerful enough for a 22 but with the xre led fitted it easily does 250-300m
With a nice narrow beam. And flood is handy for walking around. He has some good YouTube vids added so you can get a good idea before you buy anything and the guy was pretty helpful, when I wasn't sure what I needed he just advised me and said have a think and come back if you need anything not pushy or hard sell. Great guy.
Hope this helps you out.

I use an eBay red led t20 admittedly it uses those long stupid rechargeable batteries but is a great light
I also lamp from the vehicle with a dimable LF170 with a red filter
If using a filter put black insulation tape around the clips and side of the filter so that when its on it doesn't light anything up behind it if this makes sense
